Since 2023, DLG has collaborated with the Silviculture Research Institute (SRI) to implement FSC and VFCS/PEFC FM projects, encompassing a total planted forest area of up to 32,000 hectares across Vietnam. These projects span four districts: Dinh Lap and Van Lang in Lang Son Province, and Son Dong and Luc Nam in Bac Giang Province.
DLG is steadfast in its commitment to establish a sustainable raw material base for a network of wood pellet factories. Through this initiative, we aim to enhance the value of planted forests for local communities, providing comprehensive knowledge training and support before, during, and after exploitation. Our objective is to meet economic, social, and environmental criteria in line with sustainable forest management standards.
